After a sudden burst of inspiration after having hardly any for the last little bit and listening to hours of thier music, I finally managed to come up with a good sketch of my FAVOURITE band EVER. I grabbed a couple of thier album booklets, browsed through the pictures and sketched up this picture of Rammstein, loosely based on thier cover for Herzeleid; Actually, it's mostly based on the cover for Herzeleid, I just moved the members around so they would all fit in the picture

I had a lot of fun experimenting with this picture, because I got to work on face shapes and stuff. In the center is probably the most well known in the group, Till. Till was a lot of fun because the guy, to put it lightly, is built like a bloody tank. So I got to work on a heavy facial structure and stuff, and I love how he turned out. To his right is is Oliver (aka Ollie), who just has awesome facial hair, I had much fun drawing him, and I also like the way he turned out as well. Beside Till on the left we have Richard; He was also fun to draw because he had this unique face shape that was kinda...well unique. A high cheek bone was the main thing i was focusing on, like with Till. In the bottom left hand corner we have Paul, who has a lot of really "cute" features that make him look younger then he is, like big eyes and a nice, round face. Whenever he is in a picture, he usually looks like he's smiling regardless of if he's doing so or not. The bottom right hand corner sports Christophe, who has this see-him-in-a-movie-as-a-vampire look to him...I love his eyes; I can always tell its Christophe by his eyes...At the very top, we have Christian, better known as Flake.... In the original picture he was beside Chris but because of lack of space, I stuffed him at the top of the picture... I had a lot of fun with him... Those glasses REALLY give him character. Also, in the Herzeleid picture, he also has short hair, but I'm used to seeing him with long hair and I love long hair on guys, so I was like, what the hey. I like how he turned out, but his face should have been a little thinner. Either way, I love the overall drawing.. It actually was supposed to be just a messy sketch...hmmm.. turned out better then expected

If you haven't heard this band, I really really REALLY encourage you to.Thier music, while lyrics tend to be a LITTLE harsh, it's sung in german, so for one, if you have no idea what thier saying most of the time it's all good and you can just appreciate the awesome songs They're from Germany and if you like Rammstein, you'll more then likely also love bands like Laibach, Oomph! and other german-industrial-metal bands too VERY wicked band. Listen to them. NOW.
